In this eleven-week class, students will learn how to effectively increase their writing style and structure, while also improving their reading and speaking skills. The curriculum provides clear daily assignments geared toward an incremental progression of skills. Writing tools will be introduced each week, and the student will be expected to complete formal essays and creative writing assignments utilizing the tools. Continued practice of root words is also implemented, helping each student understand the meaning of new words as they encounter them. In addition, your student will be guided through a grammar practice called Fix-it that will serve to benefit their foundation of writing along with introducing new vocabulary.
